Peak Week – Day 3

What a long day – 12 hours at work, then a platoon event afterwards. It’s so hard to be at an event during peak week – I’m the one in the corner eating food out of her tupperware gulping down pints of water while everyone else is chowing down on chicken wings and beer. All I have to do is look at the food, and I can literally taste it in my mouth.

Pure torture.

But, my will is strong. I want to win.

  1. Hey Lisa, love the blog!! I just recently (6 weeks ago) started lifting heavier as well as moving to a weightlifters nutrition program. I’ve been teaching Bodypump as well as cycling classes and Bodystep classes for years now so this is a bit different than what my body is used to. I am eating more than I used to, five to six meals a day, super clean for the most part (I struggle with special occasions of which there has been many this month) and I feel amazing! I just wanted to say that I am inspired by you and your success, thanks for sharing 🙂

    • Wow, you should share some transformation photos – I bet your body is just sucking up all that heavy weight and turning it into some nice solid muscle! Our bodies adapt well to new things, initially – but you have to keep hitting it with new things to keep it interested in changing for you! Smart little bodies we have 😉
