Fri, 28SEPT12 – Legs, Abs & Cardio

Same same, but different from last week’s leg day. Because I’m a week out from my show AND had the night shift from hell last night (with just 4 hours sleep this morning), I lightened the load a little and increased the reps.

And, as always, I focused on good form.

LEGS

Leg press (feet close together) 90lbs – 4 sets x 25 reps – Glute activation – prone (During resting stage between sets) x 3 sets

Leg press (feet wide apart) 90lbs – 4 sets x 25 reps

Leg extension 34lbs – 4 sets x 15 reps / Superset with pop squats x 15 reps

Hamstring curls 90lbs – 3 sets x 15 reps / Superset with Hip Thrusts – 3 sets x 12 reps

Stiff-leg deadlifts 95lbs – 3 sets x 12 reps

100 walking lunges per leg

ABS

Hanging leg raises (neutral grip): 3 sets x 10 reps

V-ups: 3 sets x 15 reps

Leg overs:

CARDIO

20 minutes on stepmill – slow and contract glutes on every step
