Protein Avocado Shake

This is my second “meal” of the day.

It doesn’t look like much, but trust me, it’s pretty damn good!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 scoop Greens+ (bought at any health food store)
  • 1 scoop protein powder (I like BioX and use either chocolate or vanilla)
  • 1-1.5 cups water
  • Fruit of your choice
Blend and drink!

  3. Do your greens have any distinct taste to them? My greens have a minty flavour. I never thought about mixing the greens with my vanilla protein powder. Hmm….maybe give it a whirl in the morning. 😉

    • Greens+ has a weird taste, not bad, just different. It’s noticeable in my shakes, but I just use 1/2 a scoop. I kind of like the flavour. Not minty though. Do you have the same brand?

  4. No. I have Antioxidant Natural Greens. It is Mint Flavour though. I am due for some more soon and could switch it up. My kids like this brand though. Do you buy yours at Costco and if so how much?

    • Sorry I didn’t reply sooner, Desiree. You can use either flavour. Chocolate and avocado is pretty good. I use vanilla.
